PREPARE THE NEW STRUT BY PUTTING THE SPACERS, NEW wheels and Snap rings on it.
1. Open Control Panel behind Handle.
2. Unplug Handle cable from panel connecter.
3. Remove the smaller Gas Spring Bolt (3/32 “Allen” wrench and 7/16” socket or end wrench) and
PIVOT Bolt (3/16 Hex “Allen” wrench and 1/2″ socket or end wrench). Note that there will be some
pressure when doing this.
4. Remove CAP and COLLAR (3/16 Allen wrench).
5. Lift the front of the cart high enough for the strut to be dropped down and clear of the block.
6. Put the washer(s) over the pivot axle of the NEW strut, and push Up until the washers contact the
bottom of the block. Lower the cart to the floor.
7. Reverse steps 4-1 to complete installation of new strut. You may need to wrestle the Gas Spring
and/or the Pivot Bolt.
